Hello friends!

As we move into Textile, the youth dance ministry and the poly dance ministry would cease to exist, as we come together as a whole church to serve in our dance talents.

The auditions for new dancers would be held separately from the re-auditions for dancers who are currently serving in the above-mentioned ministries, or have once served in the ministry but moved on to a congregation without an existing dance ministry.

I understand that undergoing auditions is a stressful process, but I hope that everyone would see it as a point in time evaluation of your current skills. On the bigger picture, this process of understanding every dancer's strengths and weakness would assist me to support and lead the ministry better. I promise I tried to make this as painless as possible. So, read on for what's going to happen.

Details for the re-auditions are as such:

Dates: 6th (Thurs), 7th (Fri), 8th (Sat) and 13th (Thurs)
Time: 7pm to 10.30pm (Thurs and Fri) and 9.30am to 2.30pm (Sat)
Venue: America room
Format: A 30s to 1 minute showcase of your strongest genre. Routine need not be your personal choreography, and you can do the same choreography as a friend, but everyone will be auditioned as a soloist. Actual auditions should take only 10 minutes.

What you need to do:

1. Choose an available 1/2 hour slot (refer to the weeks view under this google calendar: https://www.google.com/calendar/embed?src=68d47tv5fuknes4nalccd8pqm4%40group.calendar.google.com&ctz=Asia/Singapore). Last available slot for Thurs and Friday is 10pm, and Saturday is 2pm.
2. Sms me your desired slot in format: [name][date][time] e.g. [jiali][6 oct][7 to 7.30pm].
3. Check back on your confirmed slot the next day (will update the calendar to reflect your exact time e.g. 7.20pm).
4. Prepare your routine and load your song into a MP3 device. (*Those using mobile phones, please bring converters if necessary.)
   
5. Report at America room 15 minutes before your slot. We may have minor adjustments to time on actual day.
